Prices include accommodation in your own private bungalow with en-suite bathroom, all juices, soups and detox pack, and all classes. Prices do not include flights and transfers, and massages and treatments. There is a £50 discount to anyone booking for two weeks.

The Mandrem Beach Resort

The Mandrem Beach Resort has independent, comfortable cottages, elegantly furnished with their own attached bathrooms and 24 hours running hot/cold water. It opens on to the Arabian Sea to the West and a graceful winding rivulet to the East. Mandrem Beach is one of the most beautiful and unspoilt of the northern beaches of Goa. Around three miles long with wide expanses of sand, dotted with fishing boats and coconut groves.

Nearby Anjuna has a busy market on Wednesdays and Saturdays where you can browse the stalls and take in the colours and sights of Goan life. Mandrem Beach is about 1-1.5 hours in a taxi from Goa airport and costs about 900 rupees in a pre-paid taxi. For more information on flights and how to book them please see below.

The Indian state of Goa is located on the western side of the Indian subcontinent, on the Arabian Sea. Goa’s coastline measures 125 km. and its golden sandy beaches cover not less than 85 km. making it an ideal destination for beach lovers everywhere. Goa was a Portuguese colony from 1510 until 1961, giving it a unique blend of Christian and Hindu architecture and culture. In addition to its many beautiful beaches and incredible sunsets, Goa is home to wildlife sanctuaries, over 400 different species of birds, market towns, designer shops and a famous flea market which attracts sellers from many parts of India and the world. Goa has a warm pleasant climate with unbroken sunshine from December to April. Temperatures in February and March average between 25 and 30 degrees Celsius. This pleasant weather continues until mid-April when the humidity rises and temperatures increase.

Most people subject their bodies to harmful lifestyles and diets that inhibit the body’s ability to cleanse and heal. Eating a poor diet of processed foods clogs up the digestive system with waste materials and prevents our bodies from absorbing vital nutrients, which can lead to health problems over time. Fasting allows an incredibly effective cleansing process to take place in the body that reaches down to each and every cell and tissue. All your organs receive a well-deserved rest and a much-needed clear out. After 24 hours of not eating, the energy used for digestion is redirected towards clearing out waste matter, dead and damaged cells, blood gas, microbes, parasites and other toxins from your system. Without the chemical interference of stimulants like caffeine, nicotine, sugar and alcohol, your body is able to find a better natural balance.

A professional nutritional adviser will support you throughout the fasting process after a one-to-one consultation. During the fast you will consume organic fruit and vegetable juices, spirulina and vegetable broth to provide you with the vitamins and minerals you need to nurture your body, and detoxifying herbs will aid in the cleansing process. Psyllium husks will provide cleansing bulk and help stave off physical hunger. Self-administered enemas are done twice daily to help the body to eliminate toxins. Daily yoga is complemented by fun and informative classes on nutrition and healthy eating, sustainable living, meditation and happiness.
